With the goal of narrowing the existing equipment gap in the realm of international skiing, we facilitate the delivery of a world-class product:

testing schemes for championships

Starting from the 2023-24 season, EQI is embarking on a continuous testing initiative in preparation for upcoming championships. This pilot project is set to run until the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics. Local test teams are conducting the testing using customized test ski series and a standardized test regime. Test data is systematically collected during the relevant times of the season. These data sets play a pivotal role in the development of optimal grinds tailored for the upcoming championships. Test teams are actively engaged in the following arenas: Val di Fiemme (WOG / PWG Milano Cortina 2026) and Granåsen (FIS WSC Trondheim 2025).

all-year Grinding services

In the absence of fluoride content in waxes and gliders, the significance of ski characteristics and sole structure becomes more pronounced. The development of optimal grinds relies heavily on comprehensive test data. EQI collaborates closely with a world-leading grinding facility, www.skiplukkern.no/en, renowned for its year-round grinding service featuring cutting-edge technology. Grinding machines will eventually be accessible at championships. EQI has access to the following grinding technology:

- Wintersteiger Matrix NC
- Wintersteiger Race NC
- Tazzari RP23
‍
EQI also collaborates with multiple private ski teams on grinding, leveraging insights gained from their ongoing testing at competitions throughout the season. This collaborative approach establishes a robust foundation for the overall development of grinds.
